The only event of it’s kind, “Scream 2010″ will present awards in 33 different categories to films, television shows, actors, actresses, directors and writers working in the imaginative industry.
Who’s Nominated For Spike TV’s “Scream 2010″
A film that is sure to generate a buzz at this year’s Academy Awards, Christopher Nolan’s Inception, leads the way with nominations in 14 different categories including “Best Science Fiction Movie,” “Best Director” and “Best SCREAM Play.” Close behind with nominations in 13 categories are the action packed teenage superhero flick, Kick Ass, and the latest franchise that is making a splash in the comic book to film world, Iron Man 2.
Leading the way for nominations on the small screen are vampire drama, “True Blood” on HBO (DISH Network Channel 300) and everybody’s favorite serial killer, “Dexter,” on Showtime (DISH Network Channel 318/319)

On hand to premiere footage from the greatly anticipated fourth installment of Wes Craven’s Scream franchise will be none other than Craven himself. Joining him will be original cast members David Arquette and Neve Campbell, as well as new cast additions Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere. The show will also feature world premiere footage for The Rite, the latest Sir Anthony Hopkins supernatural thriller as well as a sneak peak at the follow up to one of last year’s most bone chilling films, Paranormal Activity 2.

We’re Going Back….To the Future
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Robert Zemeckis’s Back to the Future franchise there will be Blu Ray releases of the three films, a digital theatrical relase of the original and “Scream 2010″ will honor the film by bringing Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) and Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) on to the stage with cast members Lea Thompson and Elizabeth Shue.
